  • What are the opportunities in Latin America for digital development and transformation based on the advances in technology that have rapidly transformed the world?

Intel is powered by four superpowers: cloud, 5G-powered connectivity, artificial intelligence (AI), and the intelligent edge.

Gisselle Ruiz Lanza, Intel’s regional director for Latin America, will present the fundamental elements to be developed in the market and the necessary infrastructure to reach it.

Intel has shown over the years that, as a company, it is one of the pillars of society in terms of technology. The constant innovations that are applied with which they work allow their users to improve in different areas of work and in their lives.

Today, the company is at the forefront thanks to what they know as “the four superpowers” and the attention paid to technology trends that are constantly moving.

They get their title of superpower because each multiplies the impact of the others and together they reshape every aspect of people’s lives and work, which is directly tied to Intel’s purpose: to create technology that changes the world and enriches people’s lives.

With the company’s participation in the 7th America Digital Latin American Congress of Technology and Business 2022, the aim is to delve into how these so-called powers are applied in the digital reality of users, guiding them towards a better technological experience and a positive impact on the world.

Gisselle Ruiz Lanza, Intel’s regional director of Intel for Latin America, will present the superpowers promoted by the company in order to learn more about them and show how the company has transformed itself to be a key player in the development and massification of them.

Intel wants to ratify its purpose of adding talent and leadership to continue offering technologies that adapt to the needs of users and promoting initiatives that impact the sector, based on four superpowers: ubiquitous computing, omnipresent connectivity, infrastructure from the cloud to the Edge and artificial intelligence.

  • Infrastructure from the cloud to the Edge

The first of these powers seeks to “reduce the friction of data movement” which will allow organizations to process the heaviest and most important workloads from where they want and how they like to do it.

  • Ubiquitous connectivity

By increasing the 5G wireless connection, you will see much more impressive speeds and a functional connection between millions of new devices. This will be able to facilitate the use of data and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), as well as the creation of networks within the aforementioned Edge cloud.

  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)

This is one of the points that attracts the most attention, since Artificial Intelligence helps us transform raw data into useful information for different businesses. On average, 75% of existing software already has some form of Artificial Intelligence built in, so things like software creation or even medical diagnoses are possible thanks to it.

  • Ubiquitous computing

Global computing trends continue to advance at incredible speeds and it shows in the constant software and hardware updates on the market. This not only helps in work matters, but also encourages people to be creative and productive in different areas of their lives, whether at work or personally.
