PhD in Economics from the University of Chile, with a Master’s in Economic Sciences and a Commercial Engineering degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. She has held key roles in financial public policy, including Coordinator of Capital Markets and International Finance at the Ministry of Finance. She served as Corporate Risk Manager at the Central Bank and has advised the IDB, as well as serving as Principal Economist at consulting firm Zahler & Co., Director of the National Petroleum Company (ENAP), Vice President of Cotrisa, and a member of the Moneda Asset Surveillance Committee in MDLAT. She has also been a professor at the University of Chile, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile; Diego Portales University, and Adolfo Ibáñez University.
