ALBERTO NAUDON DELL’ORO has been a Director of the Central Bank of Chile since March 2018. Until joining the Council and since September 2014, he served as Manager of the Studies Division of that Institution.
He is a commercial engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where he obtained the Raúl Iver award for the best graduate of the class of 2000, and the Master and PhD in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, United States.
Among his academic activities he has been a professor at the University of Chile, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the University of Los Andes, and the Adolfo Ibáñez University, teaching courses in the areas of Macroeconomics, Econometrics and International Economics.
He has researched and published various articles on monetary policy and financial topics.

Second Report on Central Bank Digital Currencies
The objective is to present the Second Report on Digital Currencies of the Central Bank. The report contains the work carried out by the Central Bank since the publication of the first report (May 2011), the results of several instances of dialogue with different stakeholders and the main initiatives for the coming years in this matter.
