With more than 25 years of experience in international sales and marketing for the Latin American region, Samer Atassi has been the Vice President of Latin America at Jumio since 2019.

His mission is to promote the regional expansion of Jumio, offering comprehensive eKYC (know your user), fraud, anti-money laundering and digital identity verification solutions to fintechs, financial services organizations, sharing economy companies, healthcare institutions and gaming operators in the LATAM region.

Before joining Jumio, Samer worked at NetScout Systems, Network General, and 3Com.

He is an Electrical Engineer with a minor in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami. He completed postgraduate studies at the Liceo Franco Argentino Jean Mermoz and completed the Executive Leadership and International Business Leadership Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

He is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Arabic.
