Culture of Innovation at Amazon
Amazon’s approach to innovation has been consistent: Start with the customer and work from their needs. To support long-term innovation with speed and scale, and continue to keep the customer at the center of everything we do, Amazon’s Culture of Innovation is organized around four pillars: Culture, Mechanisms, Architecture, and Organization. These are the four aspects that influence how we organize for innovation, and when you do this, you bring innovation (which is usually centrally managed by most companies) to the edges of the company, and you enable innovation. for everyone in the company. During this session we will cover how we innovate at Amazon and these four pillars on which the Amazon culture has been built to sustain innovation.
