Bio:
Juan Ignacio Díaz, 41, is the Country CEO of Siemens Chile and responsible for the overall strategic management and direction of the company. Major businesses in Chile are related to their services and technologies for energy generation, transmission, healthcare, transportation and mining. Their strategy has a strong focus in Electrification, Automation and Digitalization.

Since joining the company in 2008, Juan Ignacio has served in various functions in Chile and South America, first as General Counsel for Chile and later as General Counsel for the South America region. Then, in 2010 and parallel to his duties, he assumed the position of City Account Manager for the Metropolitan Region of Santiago, responsible for developing the portfolio of sustainable solutions for megacities.

Juan Ignacio is married and has 4 children. He holds a law degree from Finis Terrae University, an MBA from Adolfo Ibáñez University and a Master’s in Law from Duke University. Prior to joining Siemens, he worked at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York and previously at LAN Airlines. He is also a member of the Board of the World Energy Council in Chile, the Chilean Association of Renewable Energies and the Chilean German Chamber of Commerce.
