Conference Title:
Smart Exit Strategies for Entrepreneurs and VC funds in the LATAM market.

Abstract:
The key to success as an investor and entrepreneur is to analyze and define a solid “Exit Strategy” because it defines the goals and success itself. Nevertheless, this matter is not that common as has to be. In fact, the industry is used to overthink the initial steps as the well-known due diligence, asset and company valuation, liabilities and the deal itself but it gives less importance to the exit issues.

Alfonso Yáñez in his lecture describes the most exit strategies used by top-growing companies in Latin America addressing its advantages and disadvantages. Then, he gives several considerations when planning or negotiating such arrangements with a partner, entrepreneur or investment fund based on several case studies and practical examples.
